HOBBS, N.M. – Our Lady of the Lake edged University of the Southwest 25-20, 25-13, 24-26, 25-22 Thursday evening in Red River Athletic Conference action played at the Maddox Student Life Center.
 
Junior Hannah Massey finished with a team-high 11 kills. The Las Cruces, New Mexico native also added two solo blocks and two assisted blocks. She also hit .250.
 
Junior Corina Madrid also had a busy night for the Mustangs. The Las Cruces, New Mexico product added eight kills and six digs.
 
Senior Shelby Bartley chipped in with seven kills. The Canyon, Texas product added three assisted blocks.
 
Senior Ashley Preuss added six kills and an assisted block and a single block.
 
Senior Karina Grajeda had a busy night from the libero position and recorded a team-high 20 digs. Junior Lacey Clutts also helped with 10 digs.
 
Sophomore Brenda Pargas added 17 assists.
 
As a team OLLU (15-7, 10-0 RRAC) hit .247, while USW hit .099.
 
The Mustangs (10-12, 5-5 RRAC) return to the court Saturday at 11 a.m. against Huston-Tillotson.
