LANGSTON, Okla. – University of the Southwest used a balanced offensive attack and dispatched Langston 25-11, 25-16, 25-20 in the final Red River Athletic Conference regular season road of the year.
Junior
Corina Madrid finished with a match-high 12 kills to along with four digs and three assisted blocks.
Senior
Ashley Preuss added nine kills and hit .500. She also recorded three digs and a solo block.
Freshman
Essence McGaha added seven kills and junior
Hannah Massey contributed five kills and three blocks.
Sophomore
Brenda Pargas finished with 18 assists and seven digs, while junior
Miranda Tapia finished with 13 assists.
Senior
Karina Grajeda contributed 28 digs from the libero position.
USW (12-13, 7-5 RRAC) has already clinched a RRAC tournament bid and host St.Thomas-Houston and Wiley this week and look to improve their seeding.
