AUSTIN, Texas – Sophomore Brenda Pargas paced University of the Southwest with 18 assists and 16 digs, however, Huston-Tillotson eased past the Mustangs in four sets 25-20, 18-25, 25-18, 25-14 Saturday afternoon in Red River Athletic Conference action.
 
Junior Corina Madrid scored a team-high nine kills and added 14 digs.
 
Senior Shelby Bartley contributed eight kills to go along with two solo blocks and a pair of assisted blocks. Senior Ashley Preuss chipped in seven kills and added four digs. Karina Grajeda, also a senior, added 20 digs.
 
Junior Hannah Massey notched five kill and six digs.
 
USW returns to action Monday at Sul Ross State.
