Austin, TX - Senior forward Jack Laurie capped off a brilliant week with two goals as the USW Mustangs defeated Huston Tillotson University 2-0. Both goals came in the second half.

Freshman defender, Jed Bowman whipped in a swing ball that Laurie met with his head on the front post for the game opener.

Laurie scored his second of the game from pure anticipation. Antonio Menendez delivered a deadly in-swing ball that Laurie tapped in from close range. The Mustangs improve to a 5-1-1 record in conference and will complete their away schedule next week in Louisiana at LSUA on October 18 and LSUS on October 20.
