Shreveport, Louisiana- The USW men's soccer team failed to hold onto a first half lead and lost to LSUS 2-1 in overtime.
The Mustangs earned a free kick on the corner of the box which freshman defender
Jed Bowman whipped into the box. Sophomore defender
Dan Moreno headed the long ball across the LSUS goal which
Jack Laurie tapped in for the Mustangs lead.
LSUS tied the game in the second half forcing overtime. They scored the game winner at the end of the first overtime.
The Mustangs return home on Thursday October 25 against Jarvis Christian and will conclude their regular season schedule at home on October 27 against Texas College. Both games will be played at 3:30pm.
