Hobbs, NM. - The USW men's soccer team had one goal on its mind for its match against Jarvis Christian, get the win and secure a spot in the RRAC Tournament, and it was mission accomplished with a convincing 10-1 win over the Bulldogs at the Lovington High School Field on Thursday afternoon. Jack Laurie put the Mustangs ahead in the first minute of the game latching onto a through ball from defender 
Dan Moreno to beat the advancing Jarvis goal keeper.
Laurie would later score four more goals in the game to take his season goal tally to 13 in conference and 16 on the season.
Freshmen midfielders 
Antonio Menendez added three goals and Gerardo Tenorio scored twice to seal the win.
The Mustangs will conclude their regular season at home on Saturday October 27 against Texas College at 3:30 pm.
