SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Our Lady of the Lake defeated University of the Southwest softball 6-2 Saturday afternoon and completed a three-game Red River Athletic Conference series.
 
MyKaya Olivas was tagged with the loss. She threw one and two-third innings and scattered five hits, allowed four runs and two walks and struck out a batter. Madison Garcia entered in relief and tossed four and a third innings and surrendered five hits and allowed one run and one walk.
 
Adrianna Silva batted 1-for-3 with a pair of runs batted in, while Gabby Heckman, Alexis York and Monika Madrid each added a hit.
 
USW returns to action Tuesday, March 13 and host Texas A&M – Texarkana.
