HOBBS, NM---The Lady Mustangs hosted Wiley College on Friday night for 'Friends & Family Night' at the Jack & Mabel Maddox Student Life Center. This was the second to last home game of the season for USW before their season finale on Saturday November 2nd against Jarvis Christian. The Lady Mustangs fought hard in each set and made it interesting, but were unable to pull off the victory. 

" We just have to shake that one off. Saturday is a new opportunity for us to take advantage of and we shall. I am confident that we all know we beat ourselves and that's an easy fix" said Head Coach Katrina English following the match on Friday night. 

Junior Alexis Mancera led the team in kills with 9 on the evening. Mancera also had 2 digs and 1 block. 

Dylann Bylund had another strong performance with 21 assists, 6 kills, 1 ace, 9 digs and 3 blocks. 

Senior Torie Joiner had 6 kills on 11 attempts. 

Saturday's match will be the final home game for senior Torie Joiner and the final home game for the 2019 Lady Mustangs.
