"Bobby had a big weekend for us and I'm hopeful it continues. He is a big threat in the middle of our lineup and he thrives with runners in scoring position. It usually seems if he goes, we go as a unit. When he is as disciplined as he was this weekend, he is a tough out. I'm happy to see him win this award." said Coach
Steve Appel of his junior 3rd basemen.
Galindo is hitting .308 on the season in 33 games played with 30 of them being starts. The junior has 28 hits and 19 runs, while driving 11 doubles, 1 triple and 4 home runs. Galindo has driven in 24 runs and has an on-base of .582 thans to 20 walks and 8 hit by pitch. Galindo had this to say about his POTW award; "It's nothing special, I'm just doing what I do best: helping out my team and setting the bar high not only for my teammates, but for my brother who is following in my footsteps."
