TYLER, TX---The Lady Mustangs played one of their best games of the season when it mattered most on Thursday night. USW took down Texas College 84-76 to start off their 4-game road trip. The conference win puts the Mustangs conference record at 5-10 with their biggest game of the season coming up Saturday. The Lady Mustangs make the short trip from Tyler over to Hawkins to take on Jarvis Christian. With a victory, the Lady Mustangs would be in the driver seat for the final tournament spot.

Harlei Haceesa scored a career-high 26 points on 9-14 shooting on Thursday. The forward played in 38 minutes and was 2-5 from the 3-PT line and 6-6 from the FT line. Haceesa also had 4 rebounds, 4 assists.
Isabel Rodriguez (18 points),
Shanyce Cabrales (16 points), and
Rhianna Bortoli (15 points) all were in double-figure scoring. The 16 points by Cabrales is a career-high for her here at USW.
The Lady Mustangs shot 52.7% from the field and got to the free-throw line 27 times in the game.
