HOBBS, NM---Gavy Perez-Torres and Seth Olguin earned RRAC Player & Pitcher of the Week honors for the week of February 22nd-February 28th. The selections come after the Mustangs played 8 games and finished 4-4. 

Gavy Perez-Torres, a Roswell, NM native, had an outstanding week at the plate going 12-22 (.545) in 8 games this week. The Mustang shortstop led the team with 12 hits, 13 RBI, 8 runs scored and 3 2B. Perez-Torres had a hit and RBI in every game this week including a pair of 3-hit games against Ecclesia College over the weekend. 

Seth Olguin was selected as the Pitcher of the Week for his masterful performance on Tuesday afternoon against Oklahoma Panhandle State University. The Carlsbad, NM native finished the week with 8 IP, 2 ER, 10 K and held hitters to a .154 batting average. Olguin got the start in Game 4 of the series against OPSU and threw a complete-game shutout, striking out 10 Aggie hitters along the way. Olguin allowed his only hit of the entire game in the 1st inning.
