Box Score HAWKINS, TX---The Mustangs Soccer program took down Jarvis Christian College on Tuesday afternoon to push their RRAC record to 2-1 on the early season. 

"Today's game was very crucial for us. We were looking to punch our ticket to the conference tournament. I keep telling our guys that we have to believe in each other. We can be a really strong team if we buy into the vision and trust each other. I am really impressed with Alvarado's performance thus far. He's been top class for us. This team is showing so much fight at the moment and it's giving them confidence to be ale to compete. The players have been adjusting well to the changes we are making as coaches. It just feels good to see the boys enjoy playing the game and having their hard work pay off. 

Matthew Alvardo recorded a hat-trick in the game and Luis Calvillo added one as well. Calvillo also recorded an assist along with teammates Brandon Cataldi and Angel Marban.

The Mustangs are back in action on Saturday as they take on Texas A&M-Texarkana in a Red River Athletic Conference matchup.
