VAN, TX---The USW Women's Soccer program competed in their final two regular season games over the weekend against LSU-Shreveport and LSU-Alexandria. USW would lose both games by the score of 1-0. USW finished the season with a 6-4 record and 4-3 in RRAC play. The 4-3 record was good for 4th in the conference this spring season and will allow the Lady Mustangs to host next week's tournament game against Texas A&M-Texarkana.
The Lady Mustang offense was stifled over the last two games as they only were able to get 2 shots on net in the two games. Both goals were allowed around the same time in each match, around the 52-55 minute mark.
USW will host Texas A&M-Texarkana this week in the 4 vs. 5 matchup with the winner most likely facing off with the #1 seeded Our Lady of the Lake Lady Saints. USW was 2-0 versus TAMUT this season, defeating them 2-1 in their RRAC matchup and 1-0 in their non-conference matchup.
