ALEXANDRIA, LA---The Mustang Baseball program took on Red River Athletic Conference opponent LSU-Alexandria on Friday and Saturday in a 4-game conference series. The Generals won the series 3-1 with USW taking the fourth and final game of the series. The Mustangs record now sits at 14-24.

Bobby Galindo broke the record for the most walks in a career at USW on Friday with 67 total. Galindo beats out former catcher
CJ Aviles who finished with 66 career walks.
Games 3 & 4 were a pair of pitcher duels from both sides as the two teams combined for 3 total runs on Saturday. LSU-A won Game 3 of the series 1-0 after scoring a run in the 4th inning.
Bo Sims took the loss throwing 6 innings allowing 5 hits and striking out 2.
Cody Stone earned the win in Game 4 after going 7 scoreless innings allowing 6 hits and striking out 1.
Isaac Baeza earned the save throwing the final 2 innings and striking out 2.
