BSB: #24 OLLU takes RRAC series from USW

SAN ANTONIO, TX---The USW Mustang Baseball program took on #24 ranked Our Lady of the Lake University on Friday and Saturday in a 4-game Red River Athletic Conference series. The Saints were too much for the Mustangs on Saturday and secured a 3-1 series victory. The Mustangs record now sits at 16-28 on the season and 3-13 in conference play. 

USW and OLLU played two very tight games on Friday with each team winning a close one. USW won Game Two 3-2 thanks to a Kevin Rase safety squeeze which brought home Gavy Perez-Torres. AJ Cordova threw a complete game 3-hitter to silence the #24 OLLU Saints. Cordova allowed only 2 runs and struck out 4 to earn the victory. 

Day 2 was not as nice to the Mustangs as they were outscored 20-1 in Games 3 & 4. Gavy Perez-Torres led the offense with 3 hits on Day 2.
