Hobbs, NM- Game 2 versus Louisiana Christian was played this afternoon. The lady mustangs lost in three sets today as well (Set 1 17-25, Set 2 20-25, and Set 3 25-27).  The lady mustangs overall clicked better as a unit working as one. 

Head Coach Cass Smith said that "Overall we were more aggressive on the offensive side, the team was also more stable not letting their emotion get to them and had better execution. Along with that, we simplified the game and got back to enjoying volleyball. What helped a lot in this match was getting our starting setter Freshman Starlett Hoyuela which was able to put the entire team back in a regular flow."  

The Volleyball team will be back in action for a 2-game match against conference opponent Jarvis Christian in Hawkins, Texas next Friday September 20th at 7:00 PM CT.
