With a shutout in Game 1 and a clutch finish in Game 2, the Mustangs showed poise, pitching depth, and timely hitting to secure a crucial pair of wins.
Game 1: Belen Throws Complete-Game Shutout in 1–0 Victory

The Mustangs scratched across the only run in the sixth. K. Raulston sparked the inning with a hit, stole two bases, and came around to score on aggressive baserunning. E. Martinez, L. Stouder, and Y. Rodriguez added hits, while the defense behind Belen was flawless, committing no errors.

The nightcap brought more drama, but Southwest again came out on top, winning 2–1 behind clutch hitting and another complete-game performance—this time from R. Ashford.
Ashford allowed just one run on five hits over seven innings, striking out four. In the bottom of the third, E. Pinion reached base and set the table for K. Raulston, who delivered a big-time double to score both runs.
