Colton Taylor from Tahoka, TX played his freshman year at McPherson College in McPherson, KS. He transferred to Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, NM where he played baseball and graduated with honors and earned a Bachelor of Science degree. <br />

Taylor currently works with the infielders the Mustangs. He oversees all infield instruction and development, as well as assistant Coach Jarreau with the offense. Taylor is currently pursuing his MBA here at USW. <br />

Taylor began his coaching career in Lindsborg, KS at Bethan College where he primarily worked with outfield, while assisting with infield and hitting. In the summer of 2019, Taylor was hired by Ted Sternberg as the Infield Coach of the Niagara Power of the New York Collegiate Baseball League. During his time at Niagara Falls, Taylor coached over 15 Division-1 players including MIF Kyle LaPlante of Purdue University, Dylan McNary of Villanova University, Isaiah Corry of Binghamton University and Branden Sanford of Houston Baptist. The Power were 34-12 and went on to win the NYCBL Championship.<br />
