Born on March 1, 2006, Emmett grew up in Peyton, Colorado, where he developed a passion for baseball from an early age. He is the son of Charles and Carrie Lujan and has a supportive sibling, Madison, who has been a big part of his journey.
A 2024 graduate of Liberty High School, Emmett made a name for himself on the baseball diamond, earning 1st Team All-State honors in 2024. His athletic versatility also shined on the basketball court, where he was named MVP in 2023.
Now majoring in Secondary Education with a minor in Business, Emmett has aspirations of becoming a physical education teacher or pursuing a career in construction work. His love for baseball continues as he steps onto the collegiate stage, drawing inspiration from his favorite player, Charlie Blackmon, and staying loyal to his favorite team, the Colorado Rockies.
Emmett's pregame ritual is simple yet meaningful—he says a prayer before taking the field. One of his most cherished sports memories is his first time traveling to a different state to play baseball, an experience that fueled his passion for the game even further.
When he's not competing, Emmett enjoys fajitas.
