Biography

Born on March 26, 2005, Major grew up in Hobbs, New Mexico, where he was raised by his supportive parents, Brian and LaShawn Byrd. He shares a close bond with his sibling, Gunnar, who has been a key part of his journey.

A 2023 graduate of Hobbs High School, Major is now pursuing a degree in Management, preparing for success both on and off the field. His passion for baseball is fueled by his favorite athlete, Corey Seager, and his loyalty lies with the Texas Rangers.

Before every game, Major locks in by listening to music, helping him stay focused and ready to compete. His favorite food is steak, and while his favorite restaurant and movie remain undisclosed, his love for the game is undeniable.
