Born on May 20, 2025, Mark grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he developed a deep love for baseball. He was raised by his supportive parents, Mark Gonzales Sr. and Elizabeth Gonzales, alongside his sibling, Maddox Gonzales.

Mark graduated from Eldorado High School in 2021 before taking his talents to Cerro Coso Community College, where he competed for one year. Now majoring in Kinesiology & Exercise Science, he is committed to both his education and his future career goal of becoming a firefighter.

A dedicated athlete, Mark draws inspiration from Kobe Bryant and is a passionate fan of the New York Yankees. His pregame ritual is simple yet powerful—praying before every game. One of his most memorable moments on the field was helping Cerro Coso Community College break a 22-year playoff drought, a testament to his hard work and perseverance.
