Born on September 24, 2003, Miguel grew up in El Paso, Texas, where he developed a passion for baseball. He was raised by his supportive parents, Miguel and Patricia Olivas, alongside his sisters, Mitzy and Mayra Olivas. He graduated from Horizon High School in 2022, where he honed his craft before moving on to the collegiate level.
Miguel is currently majoring in Management with a minor in Marketing, aiming to open his own welding business in the future. Off the field, he is a big fan of Marcus Stroman and passionately supports the New York Yankees.
His pregame ritual consists of listening to music and meditating, helping him stay composed and locked in before taking the mound. One of his most memorable moments in baseball came during his freshman season, when he pitched three scoreless innings against LSUS late in the game to hold them off from scoring.
Beyond baseball, Miguel enjoys enchiladas and has a unique hidden talent—he knows how to weld.
