Born on December 21, 2000, Sage grew up in The Colony, Texas, where he developed his love for the game. He was raised by his supportive mother, Jessica Tienken, and shares a close bond with his sibling, Harper. He graduated from The Colony High School in 2019, setting the stage for his collegiate baseball career.
Sage played at Ranger Junior College before transferring to Iowa Wesleyan University, where he continued to refine his skills and make an impact. He is currently pursuing a General Studies degree, keeping his options open for the future.
A passionate athlete, Sage looks up to Adrian Beltre and is a devoted fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. His favorite meal is a classic steak, and when he's not on the field, he showcases his unique hidden talent—juggling.
