Josh Baker enters his 5th year as the Head Tennis Coach at USW in 2022-2023.
Baker is a USW Alumni and played for the program from 2008-2012. During his playing career, Baker accumulated the most career victories in school history and was apart of the longest team winning streaking in program history. Baker was named an NAIA All-American in 2012. He graduated from USW with a Bachelors in Special Education.
Following his collegiate career, Baker joined the John Newcombe Tennis Ranch and became and Adult Pro and Jr. Academy Pro. Baker moved back to Hobbs 3 years later and soon joined his father's coaching staff. Baker accepted the interim Head Coach position in August of 2018.
