Born on November 6, 2003, Alex grew up in Kyle, Texas, where he developed his passion for baseball. He was raised by his supportive parents, Kara and Alex Montiel Sr., alongside his siblings, Sebastian and Ellie.
A 2022 graduate of Jack C. Hays High School, Alex began his collegiate baseball journey at Blinn College before playing two seasons at Vernon College. His dedication and academic excellence earned him a spot on the All-Academic Region Team at Vernon College. Now majoring in Sports Management, Alex aspires to become a sports agent, combining his love for athletics with business expertise.
A dedicated fan of both the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys, Alex brings his competitive spirit to the game. Off the field, he enjoys steak, and while his hidden talents, pregame rituals, and best sports memory remain under wraps, his work ethic and passion for the sport speak for themselves
