Coach Petroski is entering his 3rd season with the Mustang Softball Program. In his brief time at USW, Petroski has increased the roster size and has built a foundation for the program’s future.
Petroski was born and raised in New Jersey where he was a 3-Sport Athlete in High School and continued his academic and athletic career playing baseball at the collegiate level. Coach Petroski earned is Associates of Science Degree at Middlesex C.C. in Edison, NJ before playing for DII University of Bridgeport in Bridgeport, CT.
During Petroski’s collegiate career, he accrued All Conference Awards and Team awards. Petroski earned his Bachelors of Science degree from UB in Psychology with a Minor in Human Services. After earning his degrees, Petroski went on to complete a Post-Baccalaureate Degree in K-12 Health and Physical Education.
Coach Petroski has taught kindergarten through college-level courses while coaching at the high school and collegiate levels for the past 17 years.
Petroski has a background playing Men’s Fastpitch for nearly two decades. While playing, Petroski earned five consecutive All-World NAFA Wood bat Awards. He has competed with some of the top players in the country and around the world.
Petroski is looking to continue to build on the foundation he laid down with the Mustang Softball Program and is looking forward to competing in the RRAC this Spring.
