University of the Southwest Athletics

Will Osborn joins the University of the Southwest as the Associate Head Coach for Men’s Basketball after previously contributing at Mayville State University as the Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach. Osborn brings extensive experience and a passion for player development into his new role. With a proven track record, he fosters individual growth and cohesive team dynamics, guiding athletes to excel both on and off the court. 

Prior to Mayville State, Osborn served as the Head Assistant Coach at Oklahoma Panhandle State University in 2022-2023, where he honed his coaching skills, built strong athlete relationships and trained the NAIA’s leading scorer that season. Osborn held an Assistant Coach position at Tabor College in Kansas in 2021-2022, contributing to a competitive environment and strategic game planning.

As a former full scholarship athlete at Central Arizona College and NCAA D2 Georgian Court University, Osborn broke the school’s 3-point record, showcasing his individual and team prowess. The beginning of his coaching journey began at The Hoop Academy in Dallas, Texas, where he developed expertise in player training and fostering supportive environments. 

Osborn is known for building strong team dynamics and leveraging his recruiting experience. He instills hard work, discipline and dedication in his players, making him a vital asset to the University of the Southwest.
