HOBBS, N.M. – University of the Southwest and LSU-Alexandria battled to a 0-0 double overtime tie Thursday afternoon in Red River Athletic Conference at Bob Moran Soccer Field.
"As a team we really managed the game well," USW head coach
Robert Ssejjemba said following the match. "From start to finish, but it was one of those games in which the ball just could not find its way into the goal."

It was a highly-physical game that featured several fouls. LSU-Alexandria (8-4-2. 4-3-1 RRAC) was whistled for nine fouls, while USW was cited for 15.
USW (6-4-3, 3-2-2 RRAC) returns to the pitch Saturday at 3 p.m. versus LSU-Shreveport, also at Bob Moran Soccer Field.
