HOBBS, N.M. – Behind a balanced offensive attack that produced six student-athletes to reach double figures, University of the Southwest men's basketball rolled past Paul Quinn College 107-78 and won its third in a row Thursday evening.

Ron'Quis Lewis scored a game-high 19 points on 7-for-11 shooting from the floor. The Oklahoma City, Oklahoma native also went 3-for-3 beyond the three-point line. Senior
Marcelious Green had an exceptional outing and added 18 points on 7-for-10 shooting from the field.

Leroy Cox came off the bench and scored 16 points on 6-for-9 shooting from the floor. The Chicago, Illinois native also went 3-for-6 from beyond the arc.

Xavier Hodge went a perfect 5-for-5 from the floor and 2-for-2 at the charity stripe to finish with 12 points. Senior
Jeffrey Long helped out with 11 points on 4-for-4 shooting from the field. Senior
David Blaylock chipped in with 10 points and handed out three assists. Sophomore
Emmanuel McNeil added three points and hauled in eight rebounds.
As a team USW shot 67 percent (40-for-60) from the field, including an impressive 71 percent (20-for-28) in the first half.
USW has the rare weekend off and returns to action Thursday, January 25 at 7:30 p.m. against LSU Shreveport at the Maddox Student Life Center.
