San Antonio, TX- October 11, 2018- The USW men's soccer team defeated conference rival, Our Lady of the Lake University, by a score of 3-0. All three goals came in the second half.

Antonio Menendez put the Mustangs ahead with a well timed header on the back post after Jack Laurie brilliantly crossed the ball from the left flank.

Antonio continued to make dangerous runs in the OLLU box and on one of those runs, he drew a penalty kick which Jack Laurie stepped up to score for his first goal of the game.

Jack drew a penalty kick for himself moments later after the OLLU goal keeper fouled him in the penalty box. He stepped up to score his second goal of the game and seal the 3-0 win for the Mustangs.

With the win, the Mustangs improved to a 4-1-1 record in conference and will complete this week's road schedule at Huston Tilloston University on Saturday, October 13, at 7pm.
