HOBBS, N.M. – University of the Southwest softball returns to action Tuesday, March 13 and 14 for a three-game Red River Athletic Conference series versus Texas A&M – Texarkana at Baker Field.
 
The Mustangs are 3-10 overall record and 0-3 mark in conference play. USW has dropped nine in a row including a three-game series at Our Lady of the Lake this past weekend.
 
The Eagles are 6-11 overall and 3-5 in conference action. TAMUT recently completed a three-game series with Houston-Victoria, with the Jaguars taking two-out-of-three from the Eagles.
 
Senior Brianna Gonzalez leads the Mustangs with a .463 batting average and has added seven runs batted in and two home runs. The El Paso, Texas product also leads the team with six stolen bases.
 
Senior Adrianna Silva lead the team with 10 RBI and sports a .400 batting average to go along with a .750 batting average.
