Waxahachie, TX---The Lady Mustang Volleyball program traveled to Waxahachie on Friday to begin the first games of the Texas Wesleyan Quad Play. The Lady Mustangs played the first two games on the campus of SAGU against Langston University and Southwestern Assembly of the Gods. USW lost to the Langston University Lions in a 5-set thriller in which the Mustangs fought back to keep themselves in the game. USW then took on SAGU immediately after and were unable to keep the competitive fire lit and fell flat in a 3-0 loss.
"This is the point where one must look in the mirror and reevaluate their purpose, desire, effort and heart. You play the game to win; it's that simple. Tonight was definitely not an exemplification of what it takes to win" said Head Coach
Katrina English following the Mustangs two losses tonight.
