Box Score 2 Fort Worth, TX---The Lady Mustang Volleyball program finished up the Texas Wesleyan Quad-Play by splitting their final two matches. USW first took on the host school Texas Wesleyan (15-6) and lost the match 3-0. The Lady Mustangs had a balanced attack throughout, yet
Alexis Mancera led the team with 5 kills on 15 attempts. Junior
Dylann Bylund had 13 assists on the day to go along with 4 kills and 5 digs.
Sarah Marquez had 3 kills, 6 assists, 1 ace and 7 digs. Fellow freshman
Jasmin Espada had 8 digs on the afternoon to go along with 4 assists.
The Lady Mustangs coming off their loss to Texas Wesleyan, took on the Central Christian Tigers (3-20) to finish out the weekend.
The Mustangs came out aggressive and won the match 3-0 in dominant fashion. USW was led by
Martinique Larvingo who had 13 kills in the match on only 25 attempts. She also added a block assist to go with her 13 kills. Colorado native
Dylann Bylund had 24 assists in the match as well as 4 kills and 5 digs.
The Lady Mustangs are back at home this Tuesday as they take on the OPSU Aggies starting at 6:00 PM MST. This is their last home match until November 1st when they host Wiley College.
