HOBBS, NM---The Lady Mustangs hosted the Oklahoma Panhandle State Aggies on Tuesday night in a non-conference matchup. The Lady Mustangs are coming off a 3-0 victory over Central Christian University on Saturday afternoon in the Texas Wesleyan Quad-Play Event. USW came out victorious on a night in which the USW Track & Field Program was presented their championship rings for winning the 2019 Red River Athletic Conference meet. The victory gives the Lady Mustangs a 2-game winning streak as they head into the final 5 games of their regular season.

Katrina English following Tuesday night's match. "I'm very proud of the ladies tonight. They worked together, had fun and a lot of people showed heart, drive and determination on the way to victory. We're going to keep moving forward on that and are looking to do great things in the future".
The Mustangs won the match in 4 sets (25-11/16-25/25-20/25-18). The win improves the Lady Mustang's record to 7-18 on the season. USW was led by freshman
Martinique Larvingo who had 11 kills on the night to go with 2 digs, 1 assist and 3 solo blocks.
Maliyah Davis also had a strong night for the Lady Mustangs as she racked up 6 kills and 18 digs.
Dylann Bylund led the team again in assists with 22 on the night to go with 7 kills, 12 digs and 2 blocks. Her fellow junior college transfer
Alexis Mancera totaled 6 kills and 6 digs in the match.
The Lady Mustangs are back in action this Thursday as they travel to San Antonio to take on the OLLU Saints.
