Box Score HOBBS, NM--- The Lady Mustangs hosted conference opponent Huston-Tillotson on Thursday night in the Jack & Mabel Student Life Center. The HT Rams came into the match in 2nd place in the conference with a 12-4 record overall and 4-1 record in conference. The Lady Mustangs sat in 4th place in the conference with a 3-2 record. USW hosted Texas College last Saturday and dominated the match from start to finish. 

The HT Lady Rams came out victorious in this matchup by defeating the Lady Mustangs 3-0 in a hard fought match that was tight from start to finish. USW still sits in 4th place in the conference and host Our Lady of the Lake this Saturday at 1:00. 

Alexia Esparza led the lead in kills with 9 to go along with 7 digs. Junior Dylann Bylund led the team in assists with 14 dished  out. Bylund also had 11 digs and 1 solo block. 

The Lady Mustangs also got key contributions from Freshman Sarah Marquez who had 13 digs and 1 block. 

USW hosts OLLU on Saturday starting at 1:00.
