Box Score SAN ANTONIO, TX---The Lady Mustangs continued their tough pre-season schedule on Monday afternoon as they took on NCAA Division 1 opponent University of Texas-San Antonio. The game was an exhibition for USW,  but the Lady Mustangs left the Lone Star State with their heads held high. UTSA defeated USW 79-62.

"We played them tough" said Head Coach Devonte Brewer. "It was the best game we have played defensively all season. I think that we definitely got better today and the progress will be shown very soon!"

The Lady Mustangs were led in scoring by Isabel Rodriguez. The junior had 19 points on 7-12 shooting. She also grabbed 7 rebounds and was 4-4 from the free throw line. Elisa Gonzalez was the other Lady mustang in double-digit scoring as she had 16 points on 7-20 shooting. She also grabbed 9 rebounds and had 1 assist and 1 steal. 

USW is back in action next Tuesday as they played NCAA Division 2 Fort Lewis College at 5:30 PM and continue their road trip with games against Colorado Mesa (Nov 29) and Western Colorado (Nov 30).
