ABILENE, TX---The Lady Mustang Basketball program faced off with NCAA Division 1 Abilene Christian University on Thursday morning for an Exhibition game between the two teams. The Wildcats won the game 104-52. ACU is currently receiving votes in the NCAA Top 25 Polls. 

"We played them tough" said Head Coach Devonte Brewer. "Coach Goodenough had a great game plan against us. She used their size, but we did some really good things. Shanyce Cabrales had her coming out party scoring 12 points and hit 4 three-pointers. We just couldn't get over their size. They out rebounded us 53-26. More than haf of their points came from inside. I'm proud of the energy, effort and attitude that our ladies displayed today. We are getting better everyday." 

Cabrales led USW in scoring with 12 points on 4-7 shooting all from the 3-point line. She also had 1 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. 

Harlei Haceesa scored 11 points in 29 minutes of action. The junior grabbed 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 block and 1 steal.
