HAWKINS, TX---The Women's Basketball program took on Jarvis Christian Saturday afternoon in a crucial conference matchup. The Lady Mustangs had the chance to take control of the final tournament spot, but unfortunately fell to the Lady Bulldogs by the score of 82-67. The loss leaves the two teams tied in the standings with Jarvis owning the tiebreaker due to a victory over Huston-Tillotson earlier in the season. 

Jazmin Rios led the Lady Mustangs in scoring with 24 points on 8-13 shooting. The junior from El Paso was 4-7 from the 3-PT line and 4-5 from the FT line. Her fellow El Pasoan, Isabel Rodriguez, had a monster double-double with 15 points and 18 rebounds. Her 18 rebounds slid her into 5th place on the single season rebound list in school history. Rhianna Bortoli (13 points) and Harlei Haceesa (12 points) were the only other Mustangs with double-digit points. 

The Lady Mustangs final two games of the regular season are against LSU-S on Thursday night and LSU-A on Saturday afternoon.
