FORT WORTH, TX---The Lady Mustangs were back on the court Tuesday evening as they faced off with nationally ranked Texas Wesleyan. The Lady Mustangs would fall in straight sets to the host Rams.
"Despite the result tonight, I am very happy with how we competed" said Head Coach
Julia Krebs. "That is a very talented team on the other side of the net, so I thought it was a great experience for us in our growth as a young program. This will be something that we can learn from and build off of moving forward"
Dylann Bylund led the way with 6 kills in the match.
Samantha Dreibelbis added on 5 kills of her own and
Glenys Maldonado and
Alexia Esparza each had 3 kills.
Evelis Vicenty led the team in assists with 12 and
Sarah Marquez added on 8 of her own.
The Lady Mustangs are back in action Friday as they take on Jarvis Christian and Mid-American Christian in a tri-match hosted by Jarvis Christian.
