VAN, TX---The Mustang Soccer program concluded their 2021 RRAC spring schedule with two games in Louisiana. USW lost to LSU-Shreveport on Friday afternoon 2-0 & tied with LSU-Alexandria on Sunday afternoon 3-3 in 2OT. 

USW got 2 goals from leading goal-scorer Matthew Alvarado on Sunday afternoon. Gerardo Tenorio netted the other goal for the Mustangs. But LSU-A scored 2 goals in the final 12 minutes to push the game to double-overtime, where neither team was able to push one into the net. 

USW finished the spring season with a 3-4-1 record which puts them in 5th place in the RRAC standings. USW will take on LSU-Alexandria again on April 2nd at 1:30 PM MST. The winner will most likely face off with second seeded LSU-Shreveport on April 8th.
