TYLER, Texas -- Southwest Men's Soccer continued its strong form with a decisive 4-1 victory over Texas College on Friday, powered by a pair of first-half goals from
Jose Attong and a balanced team effort on both ends of the pitch.
Attong opened the scoring in the 13th minute, finishing off a well-placed assist from
Yahir Chacon. Just seven minutes later,
Juan Perez doubled the lead with an unassisted goal. Attong struck again in the 23rd minute, capitalizing on a team-assisted play to give Southwest a commanding 3-0 lead heading into halftime.
Texas College responded early in the second half with a goal, but Southwest quickly regained control. In the 64th minute, Chacon capped off his standout performance with a goal of his own, sealing the 4-1 win.
Southwest outshot Texas College 7-5 and held a 4-2 edge in shots on goal. Goalkeeper

With the win, Southwest improves to 5-7-3 to end the regular season, while Texas College finishes 0-12-1.
