Michaela Ray led the charge with 11 points, nine rebounds, and four assists, while Seniya Wilson added 10 points and two assists. Alliah Scallion provided a spark off the bench with 11 points, including two three-pointers and a perfect 3-for-3 from the free-throw line.

Southwest finished the night shooting 31.3% from the field and 21.6% from beyond the arc. LSU Shreveport countered with 47% shooting and 14 made threes. The Pilots capitalized on turnovers, scoring 18 points off Southwest's 19 miscues and dominating the paint with 30 points.
