Kyle Stafford enters his 4th Season as the Pitching Coach for USW. In his first year with the Mustangs the pitching staff set school records in ERA, WHIP, Runs/game, saves, strikeouts, among others.
Kyle Stafford comes to Hobbs all the way from Fairfield, CA. Kyle played collegiately at Solano Community College in Fairfield. Kyle was a pitcher for the Solano Falcons from 2011-2014. Following his playing career, Kyle attended California State University-Chico and earned his Bachelors Degree in Economics. Stafford began his coaching career at Armijo High School in Fairfield, CA as an assistant. He also spent the Summer of 2019 as an assistant coach for the Casper Horseheads in the Expedition League. Kyle completed his Masters degree in Health and Human Performance in the Spring of 2020 and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Education.Â
Stafford assists Coach Appel with the pitching staff as well as assisting in Academics and Strength & Conditioning.
