Mykel Morse enters his second season as a graduate assistant for the Mustangs men’s basketball program in 2020-21.
This past season, Morse served as the head coach of the development team and as an assistant coach for the varsity. His responsibilities at USW include assisting with recruiting, academics, strength and conditioning, and preparing scouting reports.
Morse joined the Mustangs in August 2019 after spending five years at Legend (Colo.) High School where he served as the junior varsity head coach and varsity assistant. He also coaches with Colorado Hoops Academy during the AAU season.
While at USW, Morse is pursuing his Master’s degree in Sports Management.
Morse played football collegiately at the University of Northern Colorado while earning his Bachelor’s degree in Sports and Exercise Science.
