Miguel Grijalva enters his first season as a Graduate Assistant for the Mustang Men’s Basketball program in 2020-21.
Grijalva, a 2020 graduate of University of the Southwest, earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in Exercise and Science, played two years at USW from 2016-2018. During the 2019-2020 season, Grijalva served as a Student Assistant for the Mustangs.
Grijalva will serve as the Head Coach of the development team and as an Assistant Coach for the varsity. His responsibilities at USW will include assisting with recruiting, academics, video, and preparing scouting reports.
He also coaches with Austin’s Basketball Academy during the AAU season.
While at USW, Grijalva is pursuing his Master’s degree in Health and Human Performance.
