2024 XC

• Pirkl opened up the season at the NMJC Invitational, finishing 33rd overall with a time of 35:31.9

• In his final meet of the season, Pirkl placed 43rd overall with a time of 31:44.4

• Set a five-mile personal record with a time of 31:00

2023 XC

• Opened the season at the DBU Orville Rogers XC Opener, placed 65th overall with a time of 33:36.7

• For his second meet, Pirkl placed 143rd overall at the Texas Tech Open with a time of 33:12.9

• At the NMJC Invitational, Pirkl placed 34th overall with a time of 32:10.2

• In his fourth meet of the season, Pirkl placed 18th overall at the NMJC Invitational II with a time of 32:27

• Following, Pirkl placed 37th overall at the NMJC Invitational III with a time of 30:53.3, earning his personal record

• To close out the season, Pirkl finished 32nd overall at the Red River Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships with a 32:50.9

HIGH SCHOOL
Led team to win the 2022 California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) Central Section Division 2 Championship … made four appearances at the CIF championships… made one appearance at State… won the 2023 Santa Barbara Northern County Athlete of the Year award… team captain of the cross country team… participated in football, track and field and soccer… was involved in FFA… achieved academic excellence for three years

Son of Stephanie Riggs and Ben Pirkl, has one brother, Dylan (20) and one sister, Taylor (27)... majoring in General Biology… hopes to work for a police department as a forensic crime scene technician… brother plays professional rugby for the San Diego Legion’s… enjoys surfing, hiking, running and going to the gym
