Caitlin Schultze

Caitlin Schultze comes to the University of the Southwest from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. MSU is a NCAA Division II school that competes in the Lonestar Conference. Caitlin has been the assistant softball coach there for the past two years helping with running practices, keeping track of student athletes’ academic progress, and assisting with strength and conditioning. Before that, she worked for one year at a private softball facility in Massachusetts coaching players of all ages in skill instruction, strength and conditioning, and injury prevention.

Caitlin graduated from Auburn University in 2014 with a degree in Exercise Sciences. While at Auburn she played catcher and third base and lettered all four years. After receiving her bachelor’s degree Caitlin continued her studies at Auburn and earned a Master’s in biomechanics, thus qualifying her to teach here at the undergraduate level.
