Carla Padilla enters her first season as the Student-Assistant for the Lady Mustang Basketball program. Padilla was born on June 23rd, 2000. She was born and raised in El Paso, TX. Padilla graduated from Pebble Hills High School in 2018 and was a member of the first PHHS team to earn a Bi-District Championship. She was presented with the Varisty Character Matters Award her senior year. 

Following graduation she coached the PHHS Varsity and JV Basketball teams. Padilla will be coaching and earning her degree here at USW. She is an only child.
