Mykal Thomas scored a game-high of 25 points and was 5-for-5 at the free throw line, but St. Thomas-Houston prevailed over University of the Southwest 91-76 Saturday afternoon in Red River Conference play at the Maddox Student Life Center.

Aaliyah Austin contributed 17 points while adding one rebound. True freshman
Jasmine Stansell added 13 points and five rebounds. Juniors
Catarina Garcia and
Desiree Garza both added eight points. Senior
Jaylan Price-Johnson chipped in four points.
For the game, the Lady Mustangs shot 41 percent (30-for-74) from the field, while St. Thomas (5-5, 1-3 RRAC) hit 51 percent (33-for-65) of its shots.
