Jack Laurie netted a hat trick, including the game winner with three minutes remaining in the second half to lift University of the Southwest past Paul Quinn 3-2 Saturday afternoon in Red River Athletic Conference action.

Robert Ssejjemba said. "But we managed to convert our chances."
It was a hard-fought game between the two programs, with a total of 23 fouls, 13 on PQC and 12 on USW.
PQC outshot USW 18-14, however, the Mustangs' offense opened it up in the second half held a 10-8 margin.
USW returns (2-2) returns to action Tuesday afternoon with a 3 p.m. tilt against UT-Permian Basin.
